Services Across North Carolina, Tennessee & Georgia

When your AC quits on a hot day or your heater fails in the cold, you shouldn't have to wait days for relief. Mundy's Heating & Air Inc provides fast emergency HVAC services throughout Cherokee County and surrounding areas.

Serving local families since 1978, we know an emergency isn't the time to jump to conclusions. We start by pinpointing the actual cause of the breakdown. As a family-owned company, we take a straightforward approach: we inspect your system, explain what went wrong, and help you decide on the best fix to get your home comfortable again.

Call (706) 920-6439 or connect with us online for emergency HVAC services in Cherokee County.

Our Approach to an HVAC Emergency

When your system quits, getting the cooling or heating back on is the immediate goal, but identifying the root cause prevents future breakdowns.

In our experience, a broken component is often just a symptom of a deeper issue. On the flip side, many failures only require a straightforward repair to restore a reliable unit. That is why we never treat an emergency as an automatic push for a costly replacement.

If a repair makes sense, we’ll fix it. If your unit is older, unreliable, or beyond practical repair, we’ll help you choose the right replacement.

When Should You Call for Emergency HVAC Service?

Not every HVAC problem requires immediate attention, but some shouldn't wait for a routine appointment.

Consider contacting us when:

Your air conditioner has stopped cooling your home during hot weather
Your heating system isn't producing heat when you need it
Your system repeatedly turns on and off without maintaining a comfortable temperature
Your HVAC system is making unusual or concerning noises
Your thermostat isn't communicating properly with the heating or cooling system
Your system has stopped working altogether
You're experiencing a significant heating or cooling problem that can't wait for a regular service visit

If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies as an emergency, give us a call. We can help you determine the appropriate next step.

Emergency Air Conditioning & Heating Repairs

Mundy's Heating & Air Inc provides emergency assistance for both cooling and heating problems.

Our residential HVAC services include:

Emergency AC service. A failed air conditioner can make your home uncomfortable quickly during the warmer months. We can evaluate problems affecting your system and determine whether a repair can restore cooling.
Emergency heating service. When your heating system stops working during cold weather, getting the problem addressed promptly matters. We'll evaluate your heating equipment and explain the available repair options.
Heat pump emergencies. Heat pumps provide both heating and cooling; a malfunction can affect your home's comfort in more than one season. We service heat pump systems and can determine the source of the problem.
Ductless and mini-split problems. If you rely on a ductless mini-split system for heating or cooling, a malfunction can affect one room or multiple areas of your home. We can evaluate Mitsubishi Electric and other ductless systems and recommend the appropriate solution.

Repair or Replacement? We Can Help You Decide.

Wondering whether you need a quick repair or a whole new system is often the most stressful part of an HVAC emergency.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. We evaluate your unit’s age, overall condition, repair history, and the cost of ongoing operation before making a recommendation. Our goal isn't to push an unnecessary replacement; it's to help you make the best choice for your home and budget.

If a replacement is the smarter long-term investment, we provide a clear estimate and walk you through your options. We work with all major brands and, as a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor, we install trusted, high-efficiency systems built to last.

What Does Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor Mean?

Being a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor means our team has direct factory training on the brand's specialized ductless technology. If you're calling for emergency repairs on a Mitsubishi system, let us know upfront so we can send a technician with the right tools and equipment.
